Jack Creek Farm is a small farm in rural Neillsville, in central Wisconsin. My husband and I bought the farm in 2009. We started out with a few chickens. Chickens are a gateway drug into farming.  We went from a few chickens to a flock of 130 ish laying hens. Then came the goats, just pets.  Wink wink. We now have over 30, this includes 19 kids born (baby goats) this year.   We could not do this on our own, without the support of family and friends, this all would not be possible.

Perfectly Tallowed was founded out of curiosity about tallow and its skin benefits. As I continued to research, I was hooked.  I started creating soap and balms with tallow. Then in the spring of the year, one of our does, had an abundance of milk, so I needed to milk her, now finding I had an abundance of goat’s milk, I started to incorporate goats’ milk into my line.  I have also been able to obtain locally sourced lard, that I will be incorporating into our line, in the future.

Perfectly Tallowed is a play on words. Tallow is the perfect skincare product.

​

For our leave on products like lip balm and lotions, I use grass fed, grass finished tallow, from Marth Homestead.

​

Our soaps and skin care products are hand crafted in small batches with simple luxurious ingredients. The soap recipes are balanced so the cleansing and moisturizing ingredients provide a satisfying experience that will delight all your senses.

Our soaps are mostly cold processed soaps that blend the nourishing elements of tallow, goats’ milk, coconut oil, olive oil, palm oil (responsibly sourced), and castor oil that is enriched with Kaolin clay, colloidal oats, tussah silk and sugar. All our skin loving ingredients are made from food grade oils and butters.  We use locally sourced honey and bees wax in our soaps and lotions.
